HTP With Engine Questions

Quick answers about engine type, fuel, pressure and operation for our engine and motor-driven HTP sprayers.

What kind of engine is fitted on the HTP units?

The AAE-130-1 and AAE-150-2 ship with a 4-stroke air-cooled petrol/kerosene engine of 6.5-8.5 HP. The Power Sprayer uses a compact 31.5 cc 2-stroke engine for high-reach spraying up to 10 metres. The AAM-130 is electric, driven by a 1.5 kW single-phase motor.

Petrol-engine HTP or electric motor HTP - which is better?

Engine HTP (AAE series) is portable and ideal for fields without electricity - run it anywhere on petrol/kerosene. Electric motor HTP (AAM-130) is better when you have a stable 3-phase or single-phase supply near the field - lower running cost, less noise and zero exhaust.

What pressure and discharge can I expect?

AAE-130-1 delivers 0-40 kg/cm² at 14-22 LPM, AAE-150-2 reaches 0-45 kg/cm² at 14-25 LPM and the AAM-130 motor unit gives 20-40 Bar at 13-22 LPM. That's ideal for orchards, cotton, chilli and tall fruit trees.

How much fuel does the engine HTP consume?

Average consumption is 0.8-1.2 L/hour at normal spraying load. A full tank typically lasts 2-3 hours of continuous spraying. Use clean petrol and 2T oil mix as specified in the engine manual for the Power Sprayer.

How tall a tree can the Power Sprayer reach?

The shoulder-mounted Power Sprayer comfortably reaches 10 metres vertically - perfect for mango, coconut, chikoo, sapota, pomegranate and similar tall fruit trees without ladders.

What maintenance does the engine and pump need?

Change engine oil every 50 hours, clean the air filter every 25 hours and check the spark plug each season. For the pump, monitor gear oil and replace plunger seals once a year. Spare service kits are available - call +91 99130 04583.
